
Biography
Corey’s practice is concentrated on estate planning and probate law. Losing a loved one is one of the most challenging experiences a person can face, and Corey sees his work as a peace of mind practice. His goal is to help ease the burden by building effective estate plans reflective of each client’s particular goals and desires. When a loved one passes, he works diligently to make the estate and trust administration process as seamless as possible.
Before joining Fraser & Allen, LLC, Corey worked at the South Carolina Department of Revenue (“SCDOR”) as a Tax Policy Manager in the Policy Division where he focused on sales and use tax and miscellaneous tax matters. Prior to joining SCDOR, Corey worked at the Rosen Law Firm, LLC in Charleston, SC where his practice was concentrated on domestic relations law and probate litigation.
Corey earned his juris doctor at the Charleston School of Law where he received CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in Legal Research & Writing I, Civil Tax Procedure and Litigation Seminar, and Law Practice Management and Economics. He was a member of the Tax Moot Court team and served as a Teaching Fellow and as a Research Assistant. After law school, Corey went on to earn a Master of Laws in Taxation from the University of Florida Levin College of Law.
Prior to attending law school, Corey worked for the United Parcel Service (“UPS”) as a sales coach in Greenville, South Carolina after graduating from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing.
Corey is a 2022 Graduate of the Hilton Head Island-Bluffton Chamber of Commerce Leadership Program and is a member of the Hilton Head Area Council of Estate & Financial Advisors, Inc.
Corey is originally from Avoca, New York and moved to Clemson, South Carolina with his family as a child. He grew up singing and playing music in his family’s southern gospel group, the Willing Servants. When Corey is away from the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife Ashley, a fellow Clemson graduate and his college sweetheart, and their two boys. Corey is an avid sports fan and enjoys playing basketball. He hopes to one day see his Baltimore Orioles win another World Series and his Buffalo Bills win the Super Bowl.
