
Biography
Mr. Fraser moved to Hilton Head Island, South Carolina from Hinesville, Georgia, in 1965. He graduated from the University of Virginia in 1975 with a B.A. degree, and graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Law with a J.D. degree in 1978. Upon graduation from law school, Mr. Fraser joined the McNair Law Firm, P.A. In April, 1995, he joined with Richard B. Allen to form the law firm of Fraser & Allen, LLC.
Mr. Fraser’s primary legal work areas include real estate and business law, including commercial and residential real estate (contracts, covenants, easements, deeds, representing commercial lenders, acquisitions, leasing, title examinations, etc.), business transaction, and general matters regarding corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies.
Mr. Fraser is presently serving as a Trustee on the Board of Trustees of the Heritage Classic Foundation and as the Foundation’s Chairman, which is the host sponsor of RBC Heritage Presented by Boeing, a PGA TOUR golf event. Mr. Fraser also serves on the Beaufort-Jasper Commission on Higher Education as Vice-Chairman which supports the University of South Carolina – Beaufort, and as a Director of Coastal States Bank. Mr. Fraser formerly served on the Board of Governors for the Hilton Head Hospital, Board of the Hilton Head Baseball Association, Inc. (President – 2003), on the Board of Beaufort County Parks and Leisure Services Commission, on the Hilton Head Island Land Bank Commission, the Better Business Bureau of Hilton Head Island, as an Elder for Providence Presbyterian Church, and as past President of the Hilton Head Island Bar Association.
Mr. Fraser is married to Marilyn Fraser and has three children: Alex, age 36 (wife – Charlotte, children Simon, 3, and Clara, 1); Andrew, age 33, and Ben, age 31. The Frasers live in Sea Pines Plantation.
